The 2005/06 trophy for Division III of the Bucks Squash League was presented to the GXSC 2nd team in between the finals of the Summer Handicap Tournament on Sunday 1st October. Captain Kevin Popely received the trophy from Albert May, Chairman of the Bucks SRA and GXSC member. Kevin told the crowd that the team had been coasting up until the last few weeks of the competition when a series of injuries and absences left them struggling to hold on. They eventually won the league by a single point.
